Welcome to American Car Transport, we are a nationwide car transporting company.  This site is full of information to help you make an educated choice when you are looking for a company to help you car transport needs.  We understand there are lots of options out there, but unfortunately not all of them will lead you to reputable and reliable companies.  There are often companies who mislead people and make a habit of over promising and under delivering.  Throughout this site you will find many key bits of information to help you understand the industry of car transport, and with that understanding be able to make an educated choice on which company you want to use.

Generally people are looking for a quality and reputable shipping company at a great price, and there are many of those around.  However, it is important you compare apples to apples when you compare prices.  Throughout the years fly-by-night companies have popped up and disappeared and very often people will call our office asking us to match a rate of a company that has been in business for 6 months or that has a “F” on the Better Business Bureau.  The saying “…you get what you pay for.” could never be more true than when you are looking for a company to help you with your car transport.  It is in our nature to trust people when they email us a quote or give us a price on something only to find out they are dishonest.  And when you are searching through tens of car transporting companies, it is hard to figure out what questions you need to ask and which company to choose.  In this site, we have information for you so when you make a choice of who you hire, you will be able to rest easy knowing you did your proper due diligence to minimize the risks as much as possible and make it a smooth transportation.

All of our representatives can give you some tips on what to look for when you are getting quotes, but in general here are the main points you want to be careful of.  Did you check out the company on the Better Business Bureau and look at their report or did they just tell you they had an “A”?  It is important that you look and don’t listen to what people are telling you, see how long they have been in business, see what their reputation is like.  If you feel confident choosing a new company with a bad reputation because they have a cheep price for car transport, that is your choice, but you at least know what you were going into.  The second main point is to avoid prepaying a deposit.  Often companies will ask for a deposit and then if they arrange to move your car or not, they still get paid.  Going back to the first point, a lot of the companies who ask for deposits will also not have a great reputation in the BBB.

Give us a call or request a quote online; we would be happy to help you with your car transport.
