moving cars

Moving cars is the area of transport that we specialize in.  However, when you are looking to hire a company to help you with your car move, it is important you realize WHO you are hiring as often companies mislead you.  Some companies will tell you they have been a car hauler for 20 years while they have been really only been in the industry 6 months.  It is companies like that which can cause you to be confused about the actual cost and timeframe to move your car, as they do not have sufficient experience to properly price it to you or properly coordinate the car move so it is efficient and smooth for you.

We can not stress enough how important it is to do your homework before you make a decision.  In our industry, the reputable companies are easily overshadowed by those who love to make empty promises.  When you are getting quotes, don’t look for the answers you WANT to hear.  By that we mean, if you are trying to get your find a car hauler to get your car from one coast to another in 4 days, be leery that 3 companies tell you no, but one company says, “yes of course we can do that pay me now and I will arrange it.” only to have the driver show up 6 days later telling you he will be there to deliver the car in a week and a half.  You may laugh thinking how silly it is, but it is a very common occurrence.  At one time, we had calculated roughly 1/3 of our customers who hired us to move a car had hired another company before us who had not delivered on their promises.  A majority of those people had also paid a portion or all of the estimated quote to that company and rarely had they taken the time to do any research on the company other than listening to the salesman.

Since our speciality is moving cars, we may not tell you what you want to hear about price or dates, but when compared against other reputable companies our prices and time frames will generally fall in line with industry standard.  Keep in mind that during certain times of the year, certain routes will be more expensive than in other times of the  years because the demand from people to find someone to help with with their car move is much higher.  An example of this in in the winter when the snowbirds of the Northeast come to areas like Florida to escape the winter.  If you can move your car when the demand is lower, you can get a cheaper rate, otherwise you should hire a reputable company, and the only way to know they are reputable is to look at their years in business and numbers of complaints.  That should give you a good idea of who you are dealing with.  Good luck and give us a call and we will get a quote for you.
